“Is there anyone here who doesn’t like guitars?” Anna Massie asked and one guy in the audience waved enthusiastically. I hope he survived the two hours of masterful fretwork that followed Anna’s question.
I won’t go into any analysis here. I will just note that it was great fun seeing and hearing Anna, Tim Edey, Ian Carr and Calum McIlroy doing their stuff. Tunes both ripping fun and emotionally reflective, playing as excellent as you’d expect and the banter between the players worthy of at least one standup comedy routine; the cheerful madness of Mr. Edey particularly noted 😅
Probably the most fun CC23 gig we will see, but there’s plenty of gigs to come yet…
